Description

A very busy skyscape in the north, featuring a lobster claw (left), the Bubble Nebula (top center), and a glittering cluster of young stars (M52, top right). Hydrogen (red) and oxygen (blue-white) in the galactic disk, blasted by hard UV radiation so they sizzle with silent electrostatic fluorescence.

27 hours of exposure with a 5" refractor during these nearly full moon autumn nights in the constellation named for Ancient Aethiopian Rasta-Queen Cassiopeia.Borg 125 f/4 + ASI094c + IDAS NBZ filter on 10Micron mount 162x600s in back yard6 nights on and after full moon Oct 7-13 2022
